Day 1 : London - Marrakech - Asni - Imlil

Fly out from London Gatwick at 7:40 am. We will arrive at Marrakech where our personal guide, Brahim Aztat from Climbing Toukbal, will collect us and drive us to Atlas Mountains. From there we will take a hike through local Berber Villages. Here we will have a 4 hour guided tour and experience authentic Berber life. As part of our winter support campaign, we will deliver clothes and blankets to the needy. We spend the night in Guesthouse in Imlil (Dar Adrar). Imlil is a small village in the high Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is 1,800 metres (5,900 ft) above sea level.


Toukbal Refuge

Day 2: Imlil - Toubkal Refuge

After breakfast at Dar Adrar, we will meet the rest of the team who will accompany us during the trek. The muleteers will deal with your luggage, food & all other equipments that are usually provided for the hike/climb. We will start the walk with an experienced mountain guide through the Berber villages following a mule track which will take us to a mountain hut via Sidi Chamhrouch (2500m). We will have lunch here and then continue towards the refuge (3200m). We will spend the night in Toukbal Refuge.

Day 3: Toubkal refuge - Toubkal Summit - Imlil

Early in the morning, we make an attempt to get to the summit of [Jebel] Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Our route takes us up the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge. The views along the way make the journey more than worthwhile. When you reach the the summit you will see that the vistas across the surrounding landscape are quite breathtaking. From here there are unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh Plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. We will spend the night in Les Jardins Du Toukbal.

Day 4: Imlil - Essaouira

After breakfast, we drive from Imlil to Essaouira. As part of our Prophetic Revival Programme, we will learn the art of Horse riding. The 2 hour horse ride will start in the afternoon and we will arrive in the evening at our camp in the dunes, near the beach, where we will have a Moroccan dinner under a traditional Berber tent. Dinner and campfire under the stars.

Day 5: Essaouira - Marakech - London

Sunrise at Berber Tent. We will also have the opportunity to explore the lovely town of Essaouira. Shop and visit a Spa/Hammam. Travel back to Marrakech. Depart Marrakech at 8.00pm.
